Part of the beauty of the tiny house movement is the number of artists, writers, photographers and generally creative people who are involved. While it’s not over, my tiny house journey is no longer underway, and so I believe it’s important to allow this website to be used to share the stories of other tiny house dwellers and hopefuls.
Are you currently planning, building, or living in a tiny house? Do you have a unique story, perspective or encounter to share with the wider tiny house community? If so, I’d like to help you share that story.
That’s why I’m welcoming guest post submissions for www.thetinyhouse.net.
Requirements
Guest posts must:
- Be specific – address one problem and explain how you overcame it or are currently dealing with it
- Contain story/be transformative
- Be between 500 and 2000 words
- Include at least one high resolution photo (the more the merrier)
- Be shared with me via Google Docs (preferred) or Word Document
Guest posts may not be:
- Reposted from somewhere else – original work only!
- Written by someone other than yourself
- Promotional – no affiliate links or single product reviews (product comparisons are acceptable)
- Fake – readers don’t want to hear about your future plans; they want to hear about what you’ve accomplished and what you're doing now
After you submit, I’ll either say:
a) Looks great. Let's do it!
b) Here are a few suggestions to make it better.
c) Not a fit, sorry.
Please also include:
- A 1-3 sentence bio
- A hyperlink to wherever you want to send visitors who click on your bio (optional)
- A head shot (optional)
