Building a house, even a tiny one, can be overwhelming

…but it doesn't have to be!

Hi, we’re Ethan Waldman and Lina Menard. Back when we were building our own tiny houses (in 2011 and 2014, respectively), there weren't many useful resources. Now, there are too many: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Tiny House Festivals, and more.

By the time you're done looking at everyone else’s stuff, you want to quit before you ever start.

Decision fatigue is real.

And when it comes to your tiny house, one step leads to the next, which leads to the next. There are decisions you don't even know you have to make, because living tiny is not like living in a big house.

So Ethan created Tiny House Decisions & Lina started teaching Tiny House Considerations.

Now we’re teaming up to help YOU.

Finally, a LIVE online course!

We know that everyone learns differently, and we believe that learning should be a rich, interactive experience.

Ethan has a degree in Organizational Communication, Learning, and Design from Ithaca College.

Lina has a background in sociology and urban planning as well as a decade’s experience with curriculum planning and teaching. It's within that framework that we built this program.

Every home has a foundation. Let us teach you the foundational knowledge for a successful tiny house.

Building a tiny house means making hundreds, or even thousands of decisions! Don't make these decisions alone!

We've done the hard work of sorting through all the information for you, so that you can feel confident in your future home.

She is extremely resourceful and found answers to every single random question we had! And she's so fun! I refer people to her and highly recommend her!!! People really just need Lina in their lives if they want to do anything tiny!”

“I feel like I'm “in the know” now, in that I can reference some specific people or TH names and they are no longer just abstractions. The structured approach to covering the major areas of building a home and the additional considerations imposed by size and mobility constraints was a big highlight for me.”
